Again!!!! Addison was standing in her crib this AM when we went in to see our bug. Very timely of her to introduce this new skill on her 8 month birthday!!!

Vacation in Lake Mead!
First thing in the morning, LOL!
Thinking she is old enough to ride the raft!
Kicking it watching TV
And Ms. Bug eyes on the ride to Vegas!
Wednesday and Thursday were spent out on the lake. Lots of jet-skiing, boating and tubing. Addison was so patient being lather with sunblock through the day. She even tolerated hanging out in her infant sun cabana. And thankfully she is quite patient about wearing her hat. The only thing she didn't like was getting out of the water in a wet bathing suit. We usually just took it off of her and let it dry in the sun. It was so hot it dried in a few minutes!
We made the long drive home on Friday after saying our sad goodbyes. We don't get to see my family as often as we would like, but we cherish the time we do get!

Addie's Boat Debut!
7 Months Old!
At least she wasn't crying like she was in last month's picture :)
My baby is getting so big! She just wants to do everything on her own, but she doesn't quite understand that she isn't capable of it yet. She continues to work on the same milestones as last month. Especially crawling! She can now get up on all fours and do the famous almost crawling rock. It must just be something in their muscles that they learn to just do it. Even at night if she rolls on to her belly, she gets up to crawl, but she is still in mid-sleep so she gets frustrated and cries. She learn soon enough, I remember she did the same thing when she learned to roll over. I would lay her in her crib and she would roll, and roll, and roll. Finally she would settle down and sleep. I think this is just another phase we need to pass through.
