Social Butterfly

Yup, she's text messaging. LOL! I actually found out later that she really sent a message to her Godmother Jen. Who would have known she could actually send an outgoing message?? And do you see her standing????

Tunnel Fun

On Saturday we went to Jayden's 2nd birthday party. Addie was having tons of fun checking out all of his cool toys. I wa ssurprised when she climbed through the tunnel/tent. Usually at the mall playgrounds she crawl all over everything, but never through the tunnels. She had fun in this one though!

Look at her belly! It's busting out of her sweater, just enough to catch food stains!

Lisa and Dad
Apparently we weren't exciting enough for Addie, she had to watch the people outside. This is of course after she ate food off of everyone's plates, including at least 10 bites of my steak!

You think remotes are fun? Grand-dude has a whole box of them!!

She looks a little hung over in this picture..

Just Playing With My Toys...

This girl loves, loves, LOVES, all her new toys. We play with her Laugh and Learn House everyday. She especially loves putting mail in the mailbox, and then taking it out over and over.

House Update

We didn't get the previous house we were chatting about. In the end, a lesser bid with no contingencies won out. We were not willing to take the chance without a structural engineer looking at the property-especially after we saw the termite report. It's sad really, I think the folks who won just want the lot. The house will probably be knocked down :(

But, we are in the offer/counter-offer process with another house. We'll keep you posted!

Comments- Anyone??

I'm never sure if anyone reads our bolg, other than the few comments I get in conversation. Don't be shy- LEAVE COMMENTS! We love us some shot-outs :)

Big carseat for the big girl!

We moved Addison into a big girl convertible seat recently! We bought this Graco version as a back-up seat. I'm holding out for the Britax sale at the end of this month to get that seat for my car, but we wanted something she would be comfy in during our drive to AZ. We also moved her back to the middle (the safest spot!) when we got home. We couldn't fit the box in otherwise :) She loves her new seat and she loves facing forward. Our doctor gave us the a ok to turn her around-Ms. thing is almost 22 pounds! She even waves to me in the mirror <3

Where's Addie's belly?

Usually she gets tired of me asking and just points to her leg! She gets it right the first few times though!

I finally got it on video!

Pictures of the house (Read:fixer upper) we put an offer on!

You'll need to look at the pictures with rose colored glasses, and you will also need to consider that Roger is a plumber and is pretty darn handy in general construction. I also love to paint and do home projects.

This house is a foreclosure and needs work before we move in. It was built in 1890! I love old victorian homes. When we saw the house, we both knew we wanted to put an offer in. It would be so exciting to work on this house together and make it our own.

We're taking any good thoughts you can spare. Thanks!!

Here is the outside. Imagine a new paint job, windows, and that lattice ripped out! We'd put a wrap-around porch eventually too!

Both bathrooms have the original clawfoot tubs. They just need refinishing on the outside. I already checked out the kit at Lowe's!

The moldings are just stunning! And the hardwood floors just need to be sanded and refinished!
